Where writing is good for the soul.

I help you navigate life’s challenges through intuitive writing

& storytelling that brings comfort & healing.

Once upon a time …there was you.

Welcome ….

It all begins with an idea.

Maybe you are feeling a little lost. Perhaps you feel something is missing.

Perhaps you are seeking a deeper understanding of yourself.

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story can make all the difference.

“I am a conscious ‘intuitive’ writer with core principles that guide my writing practice as a ‘lighthouse’ guiding lost souls to safety”

Writing for me is an outlet.

Always a safe space to acknowledge my path, my pain, my victories, my failures, and my fears. It is, I believe where the presence can meet me (as is) and encourage me to…..Listen. Lay it all out. See what’s there.

Acknowledge it (openly and honestly). with self-compassion.

I stalk my fascinations unapologetically allowing them to become my writing

Then I share for the greater good.

I share my writing to heal (both me) and the lonely, the lost, the disillusioned, the hurt, the unseen and the unheard.

My therapeutic writing practices can support you in transforming difficult experiences and can help you to feel more peaceful, inspired, nourished, and connected with the beauty of life that surrounds you.

“You will always feel a little lost right before you find yourself again.”

Guided Therapeutic Writing about yourself may inform you … almost like a map with landmarks which show you how you feel and what you need to do about it.

It can be cathartic – releasing all the pain you held within, that swirled around inside your head and from which there seemed to be no escape. On paper it is captured – you don’t have to think about it any more.

In writing there’s a power that is all yours. You can create whatever you wish; achieve your heart’s desire; fulfil every ambition through your characters; use your imagination; flex and stretch it; give it exercise. It is boundless. Nothing is impossible with your pen.

Who am I?

Up until 2 years ago, I was the Founder / CEO of My Sisters’ House Women’s Centre (In West Sussex). I have worked in the women’s sector for some thirty years in various leadership roles in the Voluntary Community Sector. I remain passionate & experienced in helping women in need.

During the lockdown in 2020, I sat down and wrote the journey ‘My Sisters’ House - From Kitchen Table to Women’s Centre’ in just 12 weeks. The process of writing the book was so cathartic on many fronts. I shared my soul in that book. I secured a sponsorship to publish the book, and it has sold over 1,000 copies raising funds for the women’s centre.

Space is medicine

My writing for well-being workshops provide

you with the space to think about you.

Let yourself be surprised by your

creativity and you soul talking through words.

I believe I have left a legacy - I am so proud and humbled to have saved/changed so many lives over the years - they will always be with me. The impact & three million pound I raised was recognized when I was awarded:

Women of the Year – The Barclays Woman in the Community Award on 10th November 2020.

Dame Julie Walters DBE (our Patron at the time & my special friend) wrote the forward and quoted:

“Beautiful. So brave & wise, ultimately uplifting, even if it did make me cry several times.”

  • She is an absolute powerhouse of a woman. She is a force of nature who founded a charity called My Sisters’ House which has helped, supported and counselled hundreds of women with various problems.”

  • I don't feel so overwhelmed, and I feel I can let go of the chatter filling my headspace. I used to find it so easy to get caught up in the details and distractions but coaching has helped me tremendously.

On October 21, I qualified as a Coach (ACC ). I have been on a life journey, including a life-changing move to the country, in South West Wales, to achieve a work-life balance that allowed me to return to writing. I realized I had a creative writing flair, and that has driven me to combine all my skills to coach and guide using writing and write more books.

I recently completed my MA in Creative Writing and Well-being.

In this writing space, I can BE your lamp, lifeboat, or ladder (whatever you need).

I’m here sharing my Luminosa as the light to guide your way.

  • Julie is an incredible coach who I have admired. She is easy to talk to and has the ability to make you feel like you matter. I feel coaching has been a very worthwhile experience and would highly recommend it.

  • An 'aha' moment through coaching was realising I have quite the internal critic sabotaging my thought processes. I am pleased to say I will be watching out for this voice now I am aware of it.
